United Kingdom Partner Program

Students who are finishing the sixth form, who plan to apply for admission to Duke and/or UNC-Chapel Hill, and who receive a nomination from a U.K. Partner School are eligible to apply to the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program through a separate application process.

The application deadline for UK nominees is November 13, 2013. When you register for the application, select ‘United Kingdom: I am a UK partner school nominee applying to enter Duke/UNC in the fall of 2014′ as your Current Status. For an outline of the 2013-14 application, please read “This Year’s Application” on the High School Selection page.

Students must also apply for undergraduate admission to Duke and/or UNC-Chapel Hill by the respective regular decision deadlines to be eligible for the program.

    • Admission to Duke and UNC-Chapel Hill are separate processes. All forms and correspondence dealing with admission to these institutions should go directly to their respective Offices of Undergraduate Admissions.
    • The final deadline to apply to Duke is January 2, 2014, and the final deadline to apply to UNC-Chapel Hill is January 10, 2014.
    • All students will be required to take the SAT or ACT entrance exams. For international SAT registration dates and deadlines, please visit the CollegeBoard website.

Students studying in the U.K. who do not attend a Partner School are eligible to apply to the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program through the traditional High School application and will be considered alongside U.S. and other non-Partner international high school applicants.

African Leadership Academy Partner Program

Students who study at the African Leadership Academy, who are finishing the sixth form, who plan to apply for admission to Duke and/or UNC-Chapel Hill, and who receive a nomination are eligible to apply to the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program through a separate application process.

The application deadline for ALA nominees is October 25, 2013. When you register for the application, select African Leadership Academy: I am a student from ALA applying to enter Duke/UNC in the fall of 2014.’ as your Current Status. For an outline of the 2013-14 application, please read “This Year’s Application” on the High School Selection page.

Students must also apply for undergraduate admission to Duke and/or UNC-Chapel Hill by the respective regular decision deadlines to be eligible for the program.

New Zealand Partner Program

The Robertson Scholars Leadership Program partners with the Universities New Zealand – Te Pōkai Tara for the selection of scholars from New Zealand.

Students studying in New Zealand who plan to apply for admission to Duke and/or UNC-Chapel Hill for undergraduate study should follow the application procedures as outlined on the official website. Students in New Zealand are not eligible to apply to the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program through the traditional High School application; they must go through the Te Pōkai Tara process.

Students must also apply for undergraduate admission to Duke and/or UNC-Chapel Hill by the respective regular decision deadlines to be eligible for the program.

Australia Partner Program

The Robertson Scholars Leadership Program partners with the University of New South Wales (UNSW) for the selection of scholars from Australia

Students studying in Australia who plan to apply for admission to Duke and/or UNC-Chapel Hill for undergraduate study should follow the application procedures as outlined on the official website. Students in Australia are not eligible to apply to the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program through the traditional High School application; they must go through the UNSW process.

Students must also apply for undergraduate admission to Duke and/or UNC-Chapel Hill by the respective regular decision deadlines to be eligible for the program.
