Students who study at the African Leadership Academy, who are finishing the sixth form, who plan to apply for admission to Duke and/or UNC-Chapel Hill, and who receive a nomination are eligible to apply to the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program through Robertson online application.
The application deadline for ALA nominees is TBD. When you register, select ‘African Leadership Academy Applicant’ as your Current Status.
Eligibility
Students must also apply for undergraduate admission to Duke and/or UNC-Chapel Hill by the respective regular decision deadlines to be eligible for the program.
Admission to Duke and UNC-Chapel Hill are separate processes. All forms and correspondence dealing with admission to these institutions should go directly to their respective Offices of Undergraduate Admissions.
Regular decision applications to Duke and UNC-Chapel Hill are usually due in early January. All questions about university applications should be directed to the respective university Undergraduate Admissions Offices.
All students will be required to take the SAT or ACT entrance exams. For international SAT registration dates and deadlines, please visit the CollegeBoard website.
Students from the Africa who do not attend the African Leadership Academy are eligible to apply to the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program through the traditional High School application.
