Lawton shares, “If you have ever wondered what consultants actually do, are interested in having an impact in sustainability, or just want to hang out please stop by and chat with Wilson and me on March 4th! I studied Statistics & Analytics at UNC and did a Certificate in Energy & the Environment at Duke. I interned for McKinsey during my launch summer and am now working (but also skiing a lot) out of our Denver Office. I am most interested in the work that McKinsey is doing around sustainability, electric power, and the future of mobility but have seen my fair share of random topics in my first 7 months. I love talking all things Robertson (especially crazy exploration summer ideas) and am happy to talk about whatever is on your mind. We want this to be informal and informational, so please come with questions!”
And from Wilson, ” I’m Excited to meet Robbies at this event! I certainly remember having a lot of questions myself around careers, consulting, and post-grad life during my last two years of college, and hope folks will join us for an informal virtual chat on any of these topics! Prior to McKinsey, I was a class of 2019 UNC scholar, where I majored in Health Policy and Management at the school of public health and minored in chemistry. Currently, I am working out of the Philadelphia office as a third year consultant. As you can probably tell from my educational background, I’m interested in public/global health and the US healthcare system, and the work that I’ve done at McKinsey reflects that (although I took a “random walk” my first couple of months to work in the agricultural, financial, and manufacturing industries). Look forward to seeing everyone at the event!
