What drew you to the Robertson Program? The Robertson program constantly pushes students to challenge their own views and the world around them. I jumped at the chance to join a cohort of students that were passionate about improving the world for the better and simply would not accept the status quo. Moreover, the program’s emphasis on collaboration and learning from different experiences- through the semester at UNC- appealed to me. The fully funded summers and semesters for the rest of my time at Duke would encourage me to take risks and pursue work that empowers women domestically and internationally.
How has your experience with the Robertson Program shaped your goals and career path? The funding from Robertson for the school year and for summers has encouraged me to take risks and pursue my interests in policy and the empowerment of women.
Favorite Robertson moment: My favorite moment has been getting to know other Robertsons.
