Since joining RSLP how have you grown as a leader? 

As a self-identified “planner,” the Robertson programming has helped me embrace change and spontaneous opportunities. Experiences such as working in hospice in Tarboro, NC have put me in situations that I never would have imagined, exposing me to people and ideas that have been transformative to my worldview.

I am committed to helping people develop into the healthiest version of themselves despite their background or situation. Community summer allowed me to explore this commitment in an unexpected way as I have typically focused on the development of youth. However, I got to explore a new patient population in hospice which illuminated the importance of caring for the whole-person throughout an individual’s entire lifespan!
