Mark Kholodenko

Campus: UNC
Hometown: Cincinnati, OH
High School: Indian Hill High School

I’ve always been interested in learning how different topics intersect and affect each other. Whether it’s economics and psychology or chemistry and neuroscience, I’ve been drawn to making connections and observing emergent properties between those things. But this isn’t just limited to bridging ideas – connecting people together is one of the most underrated skills on Earth. Through the Robertson and the North Carolina community, I hope to grow and become a better leader in order to benefit my new community and home through connecting people together.

What drew you to the Robertson Program?

The opportunity to be surrounded by driven, dedicated, and diverse scholars as well as the opportunity to study and learn from the amazing faculty and both UNC and Duke. It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I look forward to becoming part of the Robertson community and working with my fellow Robertsons and alumni to benefit the North Carolina community.
