Since joining RSLP how have you grown as a leader?
Robertson Colloquium brought me insight into how philosophical questions and theories in ethics can push us towards values-aligned evaluations and solutions. The course also prepared us with regional knowledge and history for Community Summer, the summer where I grew as a listener during honest discussions and developed special friendships with the six fun and intelligent peers that I shared my time with in Whitesburg, KY. Community Summer also gave me the opportunity to witness American geographic and social diversity by plunging me in a rural setting that I had not grown up with, sparking my realization on how important it is for a leader to respect the wide range in culture and voices that our nation holds.
