What are you curious about and what do you hope to explore as a Scholar?

How is it that we have managed to modify what is essentially a flow of electrons to something that is smarter than and can help heal our own kind? What will be the repercussions of creating a better version of ourselves? The potency of modern technology and its rapid, unhindered growth is something that both piques my curiosity and fascination, as well as instills fear. Through the Robertson program, I wish to achieve a myriad of goals: firstly, to learn how to harness the power of technology by comprehending it from its very roots, then employing it towards social good through biomedical informatics. Additionally, to delve into the fields of public policy and economics to be enabled as a leader who can bring this field-specific knowledge into the forefront by redefining technology laws globally. I believe that the interdisciplinary, holistic development I have targeted needs the kind of support Robertson provides through its skill enhancement programs, collaborative platform and dual university resources.
