Robertson Senior Jenna Smith Named Rhodes Scholar
Congratulations to Jenna Smith (Robertson ’25) on being named a Rhodes Scholar! Jenna is one of thirty-two recipients selected over the weekend for the prestigious scholarship.
Jenna is an International Comparative Studies major, and is minoring in journalism and media. At Duke and as a Robertson, Jenna is committed to justice serving as Co-President of the Duke Justice Project, and teaching a house course on the correctional system and re-entry processes post-incarceration. At Oxford, she plans to purse a MSc in criminology, as well as in comparative social policy. Her ultimate goal is to return to the Mississippi Delta, where she spent Community Summer to practice law and continue her work pursuing justice and legal reform.
The Rhodes Scholarship provides recipients two years of study at Oxford University, and scholars are selected based on academic achievement, personal integrity, leadership, and commitment to service. To learn more about Jenna and this exciting step in her leadership journey click here.
