The North Carolina Reconciliation Project
The North Carolina Reconciliation Project
The North Carolina Reconciliation Project is seeking fellows for the fall semester to aid in their 2020-2021 initiatives. NCRP is focused on pushing North Carolina to acknowledge, reckon with, and educate itself about its racial history. For the 2020-2021 year, NCRP will be focusing on three major initiatives: advocating for the lawful removal of confederate memorials and monuments from North Carolina’s public spaces, building a more racially-cognizant and inclusive K-12 curriculum, and acknowledging victims of lynchings within the state, pursuant to the recommendations of the EJI Center.
